Trust is the backbone of peer-to-peer sharing. Reviews help our users make informed decisions when they travel or rent out their car.

We’ve recently implemented an improved review system to encourage more users to complete better reviews of their experiences on Yourdrive.

As a renter:

After your Yourdrive booking ends, you’ll receive an email requesting you submit a review of your experience. You have 14 days to post the review, ensuring the information is accurate.

  1. You’ll rate the owner on a scale of one to five - one being poor, five being excellent.
  2. You’ll rate the vehicle on a scale of one to five - one being poor, five being excellent.
  3. You’ll write a short review (max. 250 characters) about the owner and their vehicle. Things you should mention are communication, pick up and drop off experience, cleanliness of vehicle and the accuracy of listing information.
  4. You can send the owner a private message to say thanks or suggest how they could improve the experience for future renters. 

Once the review is completed, the owner will be notified via email. They will be able to see your review on the booking page only after they submit a review of you (or when the 14 day review period expires).

Your vehicle rating will contribute to the star rating shown on the search page and your review will be shown on the vehicle listing page.

Similarly, your owner rating will impact the owner’s personal rating shown on their vehicle page. Their behavior, in relation to your booking request, will automatically impact their acceptance rate and average response time.

Your review of the renter will be shown to owners of vehicles that the renter requests to book in future and will assist them in deciding whether they’d be comfortable with this person using their vehicle.
